Course Introduction

We are proud to announce a 3-day Diploma in Urogynecology course. The course is conducted in collaboration with Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein UKSH-Kiel Germany. Train under International Faculty with a certificate from UKSH-Germany.

The Diploma in Urogynecology is a specialized training program designed for obstetricians, gynecologists, and healthcare professionals focusing on the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of female pelvic floor disorders. This diploma combines both theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training in the fields of urogynecology, urodynamics, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and reconstructive pelvic surgery.

Participants gain comprehensive understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor, various diagnostic tools including urodynamic studies and pelvic floor imaging, and surgical and non-surgical treatment options. The program also emphasizes patient counseling, multidisciplinary care, and updates on the latest research and innovations in urogynecology.

Prof. Dr. Shagufta Tahir is FCPS certified in pelvic floor reconstruction and urogynecology by IBC/UAE. She is also a certified endoscopic surgeon and fistula surgeon, as well as a certified medical educationist from UHS. Dr. Shagufta is the founder of PUGA (Pakistan Urogynecologist Association) and serves as its Vice President from Sindh.
